The new year started out decidedly LOVELY! I drove down to San Antonio (aka "SA") on January 2, and had a weekend of fun shoots with Kam, Alex and Amelia! Fantastic fun! Back on the homefront I've enjoyed a long, long break with my two daughters, Hadley and Sutton. The last few pics from the month are of Hadley (my older daughter) and her dog, Cooper. She's back Nashville now - finishing her last semester of graduate school at Vanderbilt. I've been editing like crazy and submitting lots of images to be considered for national photographer publications. I found on Sunday (1/17) THREE of my teen images have been published in TeenSzn Magazine. How awesome is THAT! Here are some pics from all my shoots... #BeSeen
Kam is a Senior at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio. She will be attending The University of Oklahoma in the fall - which means I get to see her HERE IN NORMAN! #BoomerSooner! We shot her gallery downtown SA at The Pearl complex.
Alex is also a Senior at Reagan High School. She is still waiting on those acceptance letters that don't come until March (bummer), but has her sites set on the University of Colorado, Boulder. Finger's crossed! We shot Alex at the McNay Art Museum grounds and then at Brackenridge Park. So. Much. Fun!
Amelia! Sweet, darling Amelia is one of my two "Muses" for this year. She is also a Senior at Reagan. Her summer shoot was crazy edgy, so we went a little sweeter for this one. I swear I heard Mumford and Sons playing in my head the whole time - what a cool vibe. Can't wait to see what we get in March!
Last, but far from least, is my daughter Hadley (aka "Hads") and Cooper. If you're wondering, Cooper is a Great Pyrenees and is THE BEST boy. I love it when my kids need a new headshot AND I have a new lens - banner day! FYI - these were shot with the Canon 50mm 1.2 - wow, what a beautiful piece of glass...
FEBRUARY looks to be filling up! Back to SA for me to meet a few new faces and delight in some I've known a long time. Still looking for new faces in Norman/OKC. Hit me up!
